Yggdrasil Gaming, the world's leading publisher of online gaming content, has expanded its YG Master program to offer its studio partners access to all of its popular proprietary mechanics, including Gigablox™, MultiMAX™ and Splitz™.

The new proposition will allow studios to rapidly develop new titles using Yggdrasil's hugely successful mechanics as a launch pad, elevating player engagement to new heights.

Two existing YG Masters partners, DreamTech Gaming and Bang Bang Games, have already signed up to the new Yggdrasil offering and will be developing games with the mechanics next year.

The mechanics, all of which were introduced in 2020, have proven extremely successful in several titles in Yggdrasil's games portfolio. Gigablox™, featured in Lucky Neko and Hades, is all about gigantic symbols appearing on the reels leading to massive wins when stacked.

Splitz™, incorporated in Temple Stacks™, Neon Rush™ and Syncronite™, splits the mystery symbols on the reels for more ways, extra scatters, longer lines or bigger clusters, while MultiMAX™ made its debut in Multifly!™ and sees multipliers stacked on the reels for cascading wins.

The new proposition adds further value to the YG Masters programme which already allows partners to create and distribute game content using Yggdrasil's revolutionary GATI technology. GATI is a pre-configured, regulatory-ready development toolkit. It allows game studios and developers to apply a standardised technology to develop and distribute games worldwide.

Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Programs at Yggdrasil, said: "The competition in the slot machine market is immense. The use of proven and successful mechanical frameworks at the heart of a game is key to attracting players and increasing game performance. So it was a natural step for us to take. Our proprietary mechanics were a revelation this year, so much so that we had to recalibrate what successful versions look like. Driven by these triumphs, we are delighted to now share this opportunity exclusively with our YG Masters partners. We're excited to see the first titles in this new wave of games released in 2021, helping our studio partners develop and expand their offerings and bring our shared vision to life."

Frank McPolin, managing director of Bang Bang Games, said: "Bang Bang Games couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to leverage the Yggdrasil mechanical frameworks. We are big fans of the games Yggdrasil has already published with these frameworks, and big fans of the way they go about turning them into recognisable brands. Our game design goblins are currently locked in the dungeons of Bang Bang and will be relentlessly flogged until they emerge with something amazing. We look forward to putting our own spin on these incredible mechanics."

Halvor Dahl, Commercial Director at DreamTech Gaming, said, "We are excited to further expand our partnership with Yggdrasil and utilise their highly successful mechanics in future releases. With access to Yggdrasil Gaming's exciting mechanical framework, DreamTech Gaming will be able to build further on our already successful partnership and offer exciting new game concepts combined with our state-of-the-art graphics and design."
